Dr Phillip Jennison (m)Dr Phillip Jennison (m)
Partner - MBChB (Leeds 1975)
Originally from East Yorkshire, I came to Huddersfield to work as junior hospital doctor at the Royal Infirmary and do training for General Practice, eventually coming to work as a trainee GP in this practice, which I joined full time in 1979.

I spent many years working as a GP Trainer and subsequently teaching undergraduates in the practice until pressures of time made this impossible. For the last 8 years I have worked as a Clinical Assistant in the local genito-urinary clinic for one session per week. This area of medicine remains of special interest to me. I feel privileged to live and work in this community and the wonderful countryside and enjoy working in my garden whenever time and weather allow.
Dr David Hughes (m)Dr David Hughes (m)
Partner - MB BS (London 1982)
Qualified UCH London 1982 where I met and married my wife, Hilary. Having grown up in Sussex after six years in London I migrated north to Yorkshire where I did my GP training at Northallerton. I moved to this practice in 1987 with two children and subsequently have had two more.

I enjoy living in the community where I work and am proud to be a generalist. In addition to being a full time partner with the practice I do one session a week for the “Out of Hours” service. Away from work we walk, sail and occasionally ski when not running the house and garden.
Dr Gillian Bradley (f)Dr Gillian Bradley (f)
Partner - MBChB (Leeds 1984) I worked in Huddersfield before joining the practice in 1989. I enjoy the variety of medicine in general practice, and care of patients over the years which our work brings.  I am responsible for staffing issues within the practice. As a family we enjoy many outdoor activities, and make regular trips to the Lake District.

I am a full time partner and am responsible for overseeing IT at the practice. Outside work I enjoy keeping fit and spending time with my family.

Dr Alison Dewhurst (f)Dr Alison Dewhurst (f)

I spent time as a locum in West Yorkshire and a year in Morley before joining the practice part time in 2000, though have had time out for a baby and a year in Melbourne! I enjoy all aspects of general practice. Having worked as a salaried GP at Elmwood for some years, I became a partner in 2010. Whenever I get the chance I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors with my family.

After considering a career in paediatrics I went to Australia in 1998 for one year, working in casualty. Upon return I embarked upon G.P. training gaining the Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG) and membership of the Royal College of general practitioners (MRCGP). My interests include rock climbing and mountains (although this has taken somewhat of a back seat since becoming a Mum!)
Dr Neal C Jolly (m)
Assistant - MB ChB 1983 (University of Sheffield)NJ

I was born and bred in London but came North as soon as possible, graduating in Sheffield and then training as a GP in South Yorkshire before doing a 21 year stint as a partner in East Huddersfield. I hope that I have qualified as an honorary Yorkshireman. I moved to Elmwood Jan 2011 to work ¾ time on a salaried basis. I also work as a GP appraiser in the Huddersfield area spend my spare time playing music and golf, cooking and baking, attending Kirkheaton Parish Church and supporting Huddersfield Town AFC.
